WNMC’s network continues to expand and be upgraded with the latest technologies. There are more than 700 miles of fiber optic cables, over 4,100 miles of copper, and a 327-mile microwave network that supports redundancy throughout most of the service areas. Today WNMC also deploys a Metaswitch network for its traditional voice and new offerings including IP technologies.
Broadband services are now being rapidly deployed to meet the growing demands for high speed Internet. WNMC is developing a long range strategy to extend fiber optics to more customer locations and utilize the latest technologies to make higher speed broadband services available to consumers throughout the area.
Today the company is led by Jack W. Keen as Chairman of the Board and Matthew Favre as President and General Manager.
